Day 1: The Heart of Capri

Start your adventure at the Porto Turistico di Capri, where boats gently bob in the harbour. From here, head straight to Anacapri and ride the Monte Solaro chair lift, a peaceful, panoramic ascent offering sweeping views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius.

After soaking in the views, stop for lunch at Columbus Capri Bar Ristorante, a casual yet scenic spot perfect for a midday break. Then, walk off your meal under the lemon trees at the legendary Da Paolino, even if only for a peek at its dreamlike setting.

Next, wander to the Gardens of Augustus, where vibrant floral terraces offer postcard-worthy views of the Faraglioni rocks and Via Krupp, the dramatic, zigzagging pathway carved into the cliffs below. If it’s open, stroll a stretch of it for a once-in-a-lifetime view.

Cool off at Marina Piccola beach, a cosy cove hugged by cliffs and dotted with sunbathers. Grab a spritz and unwind with your feet in the sea before ending the day with a rustic, romantic dinner at Da Emilia alla Curtiglia, a hidden gem where the views rival the food.

Day 2: Capri by Sea

Start early and visit the Blue Grotto, Capri’s famous sea cave. Time your visit to catch the light beam that turns the water into a glowing electric blue. From there, circle the island by boat to get up close with the majestic Faraglioni rocks, iconic symbols of Capri.

Dock back in town and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch at Lo Smeraldo, right by the water. Afterward, stroll toward Gelateria Buonocore, whose warm waffle cones and creamy gelato are impossible to resist.

Spend the afternoon lounging at La Fontelina, Capri’s most glamorous beach club. Set on sun-bleached rocks beneath the Faraglioni, it’s the perfect place to swim, sip a cocktail, and feel completely transported.

As the sun sets, return to Hotel Caesar Augustus in Anacapri, a cliffside retreat with panoramic terraces and an infinity pool that seems to float above the sea. Toast to Capri with a glass of wine, and let the magic linger just a little longer.
